So, we have a deal.  And how hard can clearing out a few gremlins be?  Surely it's no challenge for our brave, non-cowardly heroes who get along extremely well and also don't suck at all. She drags her foot out from under her and turns, trying not to scream. Takes a step into the darkness. If she can get around the corner she can duck through the stalactites, pick them off one by one, maybe. They’re not that tough when they’re alone, right? Rannic grabs onto her leg as she steps away. Parda stumbles. She spins around and swings a wrapped fist as she goes. A sickening crunch, and the feel of a face giving way under her fist. Parda lets her next breath out in a primal scream. The bald, almost invisible monster people don’t shrink back. She can’t even tell which one she hit, they just keep coming. She turns again, get to the stalactites. Something cold bites into her back, and she knows it should hurt, but she’s past feeling the little things. She just has to get to the stalactites and make a stand. Ignore how heavy her wounds feel. Ignore the whimpering. They could at least have the decency to finish Rannic off. Push, one more step. And then another, and another, and another. A hard pain in her back. Persistent they are. She jumps the last five feet, putting everything she’s got into getting an arm on a rocky pillar, swinging herself around and making a stand. Daggers whip through the air behind her, but Parda’s got it now. Everything’s gonna be ok. She rocks her way back on her foot and squares up, dipping out of the way of an oncoming stab while she swings a massive uppercut into a skulk’s stomach. The creature stumbles back, coughing, interfering with the others as they try to press into the newly confined space. And then, from behind her, a few whispered words. Something explodes into view in every direction and nowhere all at once, massive spider webs. They coat the cave walls, catch her arms and legs, and she’s stuck. Slowed. She can see the daggers coming now, but she can’t do anything to stop them. She can’t move fast enough. Eight days ago, the purple flame atop Black Hill in the heart of the town of Torch flickered out.  The entire economy of Torch depends on that unique flame, which burns so hot it can melt skymetal.  Smiths normally travel to Torch from all over Golarion.  Normally.  But now they're leaving town, taking the lifeblood of the town with them.  Brave souls have been journeying into the caves under the hill to try to relight the flame...

Our newly-formed party of torch-lights, do-gooders, and profit-makers heads through the smelly, murky waters of the weeping pond and finally descends under Black Hill!  What dangers await them in these caves?  Will it matter at all that they don't have a divine caster between them?  Will Junkpunch live up to his name?   Background music and sound effects: Cavern of Lost Souls From Tabletop Audio https://tabletopaudio.com Secrets And Lies by Brian Holtz Music Link: https://filmmusic.io/song/6922-secrets-and-lies License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-licenseOur newly-formed party of torch-lights, do-gooders, and profit-makers heads through the smelly, murky waters of the weeping pond and finally descends under Black Hill!  What dangers await them in these caves?  Will it matter at all that they don't have a divine caster between them?  Will Junkpunch live up to his name?   Background music and sound effects: Cavern of Lost Souls From Tabletop Audio https://tabletopaudio.com Secrets And Lies by Brian Holtz Music Link: https://filmmusic.io/song/6922-secrets-and-lies License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-licenseRead More...
